October 18th 2003 Car Show Photos - New Albany, Mississippi

This 1970 442 Convertible was recently restored. It had been garaged for many years, and was redone to stock specs. Baby Blue with white interior. The guy had the Protecto-Plate and all paperwork showing that it was bought new in June of ’70 at a dealership in Tupelo.
This 1970 442 was also Baby Blue, but this one had a vinyl top
and black interior. It was the first time I’d seen more than one ’70 at a show
outside of an OCA National event.
Jim Fisher’s 1967 GTO Convertible. Not only did he place First in
the 1965-1969 Production class, he also received Best of Show in Production.
Beautiful car…
Another view of Jim’s GTO, with my ’87 442 in the background.
A shot of the lot across the street from the top of the steps at
the Union County Courthouse. They had 130 entries for their 18th Annual show.
My ’87 442. There were three other entries in the 1976-1988 Production class: a 1977 Trans Am, a 1980 Z28, and a 1987 T-Type Regal. The Regal took Third; the Trans Am Second, and my ’87 and the Z28 each got a First.
