April 7^th, 2012 Car Show Photos - 15^th Annual Southern Wheels Car Club T-Town Show Off - Tuscaloosa, Alabama

 This club does it right.  They don’t judge - you just show up, pay your entry fee and everybody gets a trophy.  Nobody leaves empty handed, and it’s a lot more relaxing not worrying about what the judges may or may not count off.  They had a little over 150 registered entries.  As long as the weather’s nice for the first weekend in April I’m adding this one to my yearly schedule.  It’s held in the back parking lot of University Mall.  (I had the only Oldsmobile there.)

 These are all listed as how they were written out on the registration cards in each windshield.

 1933 Ford Split Window Coupe

Here’s my trunk display with a framed OldsGmail.com membership certificate Mike Rothe has available in the store.  The engraved marble brick was a limited production-run done by a gentleman who obtained the marble steps leading into the demolished Oldsmobile building in Lansing, Michigan.  (I purchased this in August, 2008 so they’re long gone.)
